MAGNOLIA VILLAGE COUNCIL
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING JULY 2, 2019
The special meeting of Magnolia Village Council was called to order July, 2, at 6:00 PM at the Magnolia Village Hall by Mayor Leach.
Present were Council members Jim Hunter, Jim Miller, Grant Downes, Claudia Rogers, Jessica Miller, Eric White and Mayor Robert Leach. Joseph A. Marcoaldi was also in attendance.
Council received a letter of resignation from Fiscal Officer Cindy Mayle citing the time needed to do the job was more than she could devote to the job. Jim Hunter moved, and Jim Miller seconded to accept her resignation effective July 3, 2019. Upon roll call the motion passed unanimously. Jessica Miller moved and Rogers seconded to pay Cindy Mayle $15.00 per hour for hours worked on July 1,2, and 3 up to 24 hours. Upon roll call the motion passed unanimously.
Council interviewed Joseph A. Marcoaldi, a resident of Magnolia, for the position of Fiscal Officer. White moved and Downes seconded to hire Joseph A. Marcoaldi as Fiscal Officer beginning on July 8, 2019 at a rate of $600 per month during his training period. Upon roll call the motion passed unanimously.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:42 PM. Minutes taken by Mayor Leach.
