You can take it from your phone (using the link above) in a matter of minutes. The Census provides critical data to help our community get the funding and representation it deserves.
If residents are under-counted, our community will seem smaller than it really is, and thus not get the appropriate amount of federal or state program dollars we need to service everyone. Plus, as it’s mandated in the Constitution, it’s one of the most patriotic things a citizen can do.
Below is further explanations and 2020 response data for Stark County as of June 17th, 2020. From that memo: “Each uncounted person in Stark County is a potential loss of $2,900 – money that could be used to assist our struggling economy and public services.”
Magnolia was just over 60% – let’s get that number as close to 100% as possible!
