During this unusual time, the Village of Magnolia will continue to operate but put the health and safety of everyone first. In this spirit, the May 13th, 2020 regular council meeting will not be in person at Village Hall but instead be held online via Zoom.
The Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has issued guidance on holding public meetings online, per HB 197 passed by the Ohio General assembly and signed into law by Gov. DeWine on March 25th: https://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/Media/Newsletters/Open-Book/March-2020/General-Assembly-Passes-Legislation-Modifying-Open
The following procedures will be in place for the May 13th meeting:
- The link for the meeting will be posted on this page at approximately 7:00pm on May 13th.
- The Zoom meeting can be viewed via the Zoom app on mobile devices, or as a webpage on a computer; the meeting will be public and a meeting ID will also be posted.
- The public will be able to view the proceedings and comment via chat.
While we will make every effort to conduct a smooth meeting as close to our normal proceedings as possible, this is an unusual situation and technical challenges may arise. Please bear with us as we work to have the best meeting possible.
If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call and leave a message at Village Hall at 330.866.2620 and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
